Benefits of Joining
There are several benefits to becoming a member of Cumberland Council No. 18 New Jersey
Civil Service Association. The No. 1 benefit of belonging to our union is the fact that our members and
officers share common interests, goals and concerns, because we all work in the same County. Our members and officers
are friends and neighbors and our focus is better working conditions for our members, not padding our pockets, such as
the larger labor unions are well known for. Also we are not like some of the larger labor unions in the sense that we fight
equally for all of our units no matter how small they are.
