Important!
Members Please take note. If you have an issue that is job related and you feel you need
our attorney Mark Belland to represent you, you must contact an officer or a trustee. Before the union will pay to have Mark
or one of is associates represent you, the board of trustees must review the situation and determine whether or not an attorney
is needed. If the board does not feel that it requires Mark to represent you, and you wish, you can retain his services on
your own. If you contact Mark directly, the union will not pay for the representation. We want every member of council 18
to be represented in everything that happens, but legal representation must be approved in advance. Remember some situations
only require representation by a shop steward or another responsible union member.
